Our focus at AACE FCU is to help you be financially prepared for life’s uncertainties. That is why AACE FCU has partnered with representatives from The Family Security Plan® to offer programs of permanent life insurance, disability income protection, critical illness insurance and the Best Doctors® program.

Best Doctors® will provide a second opinion from the Harvard Medical Review Board, when you or a member of your family becomes seriously ill or hurt.

DIRECT DEPOSIT / PAYROLL DEDUCTION

Direct Deposit is the automatic, electronic transfer of your paycheck’s entire net pay into your credit union account. Direct Deposit eliminates the risk of loss, theft or forgery of your paycheck. Your money is available immediately without the hassle of waiting in line to cash a check.

Payroll Deduction is similar to Direct Deposit, but it involves just a portion of your pay. A predetermined amount that you choose (as little as $5.00) is automatically deducted from your paycheck and deposited into your credit union account. This is a great way to make loan payments or save for a rainy day.

Forms for both Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction are available at the Credit Union. If you are not a county employee, your employer should have the appropriate forms to fill out. Please contact the Credit Union for the correct account information so that your deposit is not delayed.

WIRE TRANSFERS

To receive an incoming wire transfer to your Credit Union account, you will need the following information:

The quickest and easiest way to send a wire transfer is to visit your nearest branch.

We cannot take wire requests over the phone or via e-mail or fax, but you may send a letter requesting a transfer to:

The letter must include:

• Your Credit Union account number
• The dollar amount of the wire
• The recipient’s name
• The recipient’s account number
• The name of the recipient’s bank
• The recipient’s bank routing and transit number
• A contact person at the recipient’s bank
• Your signature

Wire transfers requested by letter are subject to verification. After we receive the written request, we send a confirmation letter asking you to reconfirm the wire information you requested. You are asked to sign the confirmation letter and mail it back to us. Although this process clearly takes some time, we do it to protect you against fraudulent wire requests made on your account.
